Made a batch of the sweet mustard pickles from the recipe that Dede kindly found for me.  They look and taste good but next time I will not chop the vegies quite so small.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Stacelee Judy's nap" sauce does freeze well.

DG and Jude I make a similar dessert that my Mum used to make called Brown Sugar Pudding. When we had stewed fruit under a sponge she used to call it Apple Sponge. We had sweets every night when I was growing up as we had a farm and it was very physical labour in those days and so Dad worked very hard. It was one way Mum could get lots of calories intohim. I must admit we all loved it too.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

made DH some sfingi d'ova, i went to a cooking class yesterday and these where  one the dessert that they made
i don't need a recipe i'm italian

like  doughnuts but very light and does not have any yeast in the mix, i have never made doughnuts b4 so i really cant compare

Uni they look sensational - do they have jam inside?  We used to get Freshly cooked hot jam donuts from Preston markets - they were my absolute favourite treats!

Today I cooked the biscuits I mixed up yesterday and baked the ciabatta loaf. I have to say that this loaf is fantastic. Mine ended up proving for more than the 18 hours, and the second rise was about x3 hours as I got distracted with my cleaning. I will definitely be making this again- thanks Lilli.
I also made a roasted vegetable soup with pumpkin from the garden. I used purple onions and purple carrots, so ended up with purple soup!
