Chrissa is your mil maltese, mine is. Have you made pastizzi?

H :)
I'm an Aussie.  My DH was born here but his parents are Maltese.

Neither my MIL or I make pastizzi, My DH doesn't like it anyway.  I do make the Maltese macaroni though and he likes mine better than his Mums (but he doesn't tell her that !)
I do the best I can

My dh mum is maltese, his dad was from slovakia, dh born here too. We love patizzi but have yet dared to make them, the pastry is tricky. It is on my to do list.

We are not fans of maltese macaroni. Its a good budget meal, maybe I should try it again. Do you use mince or corned beef in yours?

Just made milo cookies , pizza for kids lunch, Italian lamb casserole for dinner and spiced carrot, pumpkin and sweet potato soup for lunches for DH to take to work. Either mashed potato later or polenta not sure yet to have with lamb stew.  :)
