I made Tenina's Maple and Cranberry Toasted Crunch last night- OMG, delicious!  Today I am making her fudge- it's in the TMX now.

Whipped up some Anzac cookies a little while ago, and it's Butter Chicken for dinner tonight :)

Clearly noones on a diet in your house Caroline!!!

I keep looking at all these fantastic thing s & then stop myself from cooking them because I just eat them!

About to make some Cyndi's Super Mix bread then lasagna for dinner - no diets here either. ;)

No diets here, I prefer to eat yummy stuff and do the penants (exercise).  Fudge is taking a bloody long time to be ready, amd getting impatient!

You just need heaps of people to share the food with, and it's not so bad to try the yummies!
Yesterday, MIL, 2 x SIL and 5 little cousins came to visit for lunch.  I had another friend over in the morning.  She sat and chatted whilst I made zucchini slice (into oven), mushroom risotto (into Thermoserver), mashed potato (into bowl to serve - need more Thermoservers!), then threw together a salad and dressing.  She was gobsmacked, I think!  She had to go, but visitors LOVED their lunch - something for everyone. :)

Last night I turned 8L of cream into butter!

Today threw together a couple of batches of pasta sauce.  Then some more mashed potato (the kids love it) to go with dinner.

Haven't been going as well with the menu plan this week, but still lots of yummy meals happening!

Caroline J - how did your fudge go? - I have had two gos now and neither have worked - very frustrating!! >:( >:( :'(.  Must admit though, I didn't follow the cooking time the first time  :-[...but this time I cooked it...and cooked it...and cooked it and when I blended it at the end it wouldn't go pale - and doesn't look like it's going to set either - doh.  Anyone else tried Tenina's recipe with more success than me?

Really impressive lot of dishes while chatting - should have gobsmacked them

That is impressive!!!

Vegie Stock Concentrate cooking nicely in the kitchen right now.  I love the fact that I can leave the kitchen and not return till the beep beckons!

Slack day today, I went to the Royal show and we just had a quick pasta dish for dinner.

You are so clever Mama Bel - being able to cook and talk at the same time.  I'm too busy talking to my machine, repeating the directions out loud, to be able to hold a conversation with a real person at the same time :P :P :P :P

This morning I made the Lemon version of the Lemon/Orange cake out of EDC ~ think it would be better as a dessert with custard.   Delivery demo was postponed so today for lunch we made Basil Pesto Dip, Mayo and Coleslaw for Mum to take out camping tonight (too bad it's raining  :-)) ) Mushroom Risotto for lunch. For dinner we steamed some sausages and vegies in the Varoma while steaming potatoes in the basket for good ol' Bangers and Mash night. And now I"ve just completed converting Nepalese Meatball Curry to use up some more lamb...  ;D

Makes me really mad at 9am had prepared the Shortcrust pastry and then from there onwards things went skew wiff. I hope that other people will thinkfrom now onwards that next time they wish to complain about something....see how much of it is there fault first....My Grand Final day was ruined by people who thought they were right, and took matters into their own hands. Ended up just pulling out the cash to buy more wine but ultimately would have love to purchase more alcohol and made more nutricious food....

Not going to post more ... the customer is not always right...

Oh, I cooked and cooked waiting for the soft ball effect, and gave up after a few hours.  I just poured it in and crossed my fingers.  Will let you know tomorrow!  Mine's not pale, either... ???

I also forgot to leave the vanilla to the end, I read "put all ingredients in" and didn't see "except vanilla"  :-)).

Yesterday I made Bolognese sauce and Bechamel sauce for 2 slabs of lasagne which I froze to send to rowing camp with my son.  Then made a batch of cheese biscuits to help absorb the champagne we were drinking while watching the football!
