I've made some chicken croquettes today for the freezer, still have a bit more than 1kg to go!  I have also just put salted caramel maple in the freezer, and in fact am sitting here scraping out the TMX bowl  ;D  I did think about making some bread but then I just eat it with lots of butter and that's not friendly to my body  :'(

I bought a tray (about 15 punnets) of strawberries from the little local shop.  It pays to ask for a good price if you buy up big ;).  So spent the afternoon hulling & bagging to go into the freezer.  Apparantly you can use frozen berries for jam, so I'm set for jam ingredients for the year I think.  That's if we don't use up the strawberries in icecream and fruity dream.

This morning I made a smoothie (which I will tweak a little before submitting to the monthly Thermomix comp) and I have a batch of Cookie1's Peanut Butter Cookies in the oven at the moment.

I've made the Melting Moments with passionfruit from the last newsletter and some 5 seed bread. I kneaded it for 4 minutes this time and you could actually see the 'stretchability' of the dough was different. I was really pleased. I made a large loaf and a smaller one. We have just consumed the smaller one for lunch!

Have made some Naan bread to go with the curry and DD experimented with banana and peanut butter thick shakes.

Have made some Orange & White Chocolate fairy cakes, they have turned out amaazing! The original recipe from the book is just orange, but the kids asked me to add some white chocolate chips, which I have done. Have gone to take a photo to post the recipe for you, but my camera is broken  :'( :'( :'( :'( and I cant take a photo for you to see.

Today I am cooking - cheese biscuits (Amanda's recipe from here - these are rolled and in the freezer ready to slice.  I think they would be excellent as freezer biscuits), weetbix slice - another of Amanda's and will do pizza pockets later.

I made Poached Cotechino with Wine in a recipe I found  at www.gourmettraveller.com.au I adapted it for the Thermomix and it as delicious. I wish I could now remember just what I did  :-[

 :o That looks heavenly JulieO!!

I made a slice, some biscuits and some refrigerator biscuits that I haven't baked yet. Then did my Forget-Me-Bread and tried mashed potato for the first time. A bit sloppy, but deliciously smooth!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

You certainly can - I sometimes feel that way just looking and drooling over the pictures.  Good work again.  The mango salsa season has started - yum.

Have you got the Melting Moments recipe TMXer? If not I can post it. (sure it would be ok if it was sent out in a newsletter)

Today have made laundry powder and we're having Chicken and Sweet Potato for dinner. Possibly with a mango foam to follow.
