The bottoms were way too thin Judy :( They just collapsed on themselves and fell apart. I don't know what I did wrong ???

I had that problem too with my first attempt. Did you find CP's recipe? I cooked my second batch longer and then took them out of the oven put a small slit in the side to let the steam out and put them back in the oven (turned off with the door ajar). This let them dry out as they cooled.

I'm going to make Johnro's banana cake (as muffins) and I've found a recipe for Florentines with cacao nibs to try.

Thanks Suzie and Robyn :D

I did Den :-\ I've been thinking about it and I wonder if I should have had the fan on in my oven the whole time. I'm still getting used to this oven and new recipes tend to be very hit and miss :P

You have to make sure they get crispy as well so the oven has to be hot enough

Today I have made more lemon curd, and then a pavlova with all the left-over egg whites.

I have made Tenina's slow cooked beef chilli from her website, but cooked it in the slow cooker because I wanted to use the TMX to keep cooking other things!

Tried out a recipe for apple and raspberry paste (just like quince paste) from TickOfYum blog, and it is wonderful!  Posted link in a separate thread under condiments, because this recipe deserves not to be lost in the middle of this thread.

Finished off drying lemon mrytle leaves, and made a batch of lemon myrtle powder.  Then used the TMX to make a batch of laundry detergent without cleaning the bowl, adding in some extra lemon myrtle powder.  I dont think I can really smell the lemon myrtle over the scent of the soap though.

Now - time to get out into the garden  ;)
