The pav made with Splenda was disgusting.  Don't waste 6 egg whites making it.  It tasted like soft foam rubber.  The berries and cream were delicious.

It certainly was. Chookie you bend over backwards to please people with their likes, dislikes and diet regimes.  It's hard work for you to come up with something different everytime and a lot of people wouldn't bother.  I hope you had a good night with your visitors and don't worry about the dessert not working out.

Never mind chookie you had the best intentions that's what counts. When I was a newlywed I kept the salt beside the sugar. Many a guest I insulted (pardon the pun) by making coffee with salt instead of sugar ;D

What else do people use?
Sherry
Orange Juice
Stout
Brandy
Rum?

Port for at least a week.

I made honey mustard chicken from CP's favourites. We had it with steamed veggies and I had rice but DW had Couscous.

It was very good. DW even ate it without complaint so that says something.

Yes Uni, very happy. I left it over night as you suggested and it was easy to cut.
Doesn't look as pretty as the one in the blog as he used curly edged lasagna sheets. Will look great with the coloured pasta.
