Katie, your loaf is perfect  - Chookie will be proud of you when she sees it.

Yes, the wrong time to make a discovery like that GHM, hope thin cream goes with your dessert.

Cookie I only felt guilty for a very short time then ended up out there making Ginger ale and strawberry ice-cream a bit later.

Thanks everyone.  It still amazes me that I can make sourdough bread (all thanks to Chookie - with her starter and great advice  :D).

Hally - we have only just bought a charcoal rotisserie and today is only the second time we've used it (the first time was last week and we couldn't even get the charcoal to light!).  We have our L-plates on here too  :D
I don't really know how much it weighed, how long it cooked and I didn't think to take a photo.
We are going to try a chicken or beef on it next weekend.

Robyn I wonder if you could take some of Chookie's starter back home with you when you come down for the retreat.  There's enough of us with it here to ensure you'd get some.

I thought it was a bit much for your own family's needs Amy.
