Your babies look lovely Rosie. Are they like a truffle ball, except healthy?

Hi Kim, Sorry I can't answer that. They vary a bit in texture depending on how soft the dates are, but a lovely smooth fudgey consistency. I like to add choc chips or cacao nibs at the end to give a little bit of crunch,
Or if the cashews are a bit dry and solid (like these were) they stay a little bit crunchy like peanut butter.
Hard to describe, but after the first batch you will be asked to make more. I can almost guarantee it

I turned banana lollies
Into roses
And popped them on cupcakes I made for my Mums Birthday
the cakes were
Stephanie Alexander's orange cake
& choc bimby, with crushed Oreos mixed through.
The pink roses were made from strawberry sticks.
