CP that meal sounds fantastic. Do you have the recipe for the lamb? I'm always looking for good slow roasting recipes.

Amy the cakes look great.

JD your lunch sounds lovely - lucky guests

CP -  :o I'm impressed. I'll give you the heads up next time I head to Perth because I'd love an encore LOL

Judy - you seem to be quite the entertainer!

I made some honey cinnamon butter (which I could eat with a spoon by the bowlful!  :-)) ) so I have to make Hot Cross Buns this afternoon. I'd take some with me tomorrow to a club thing but I'm a fruit free girl and I don't think many others are the same.

You'd be surprised Jadey, I'm not a fan of fruit hot cross buns either. I would rather plain or chocolate ;D

Judy, your lunch sounds yummo :D

Wonder, thank you, I posted a photo on facebook and now I have to make another one for another friend! ;D

I have a big pot of chicken and vegetable soup on the stove. Need to use the tomatoes today too :)

Do you have the recipe for the lamb?

2kg lamb shoulder
whole garlic bulb, separated cloves
approx 15 rosemary (about 10cm long)

thinly score lamb, then rub with EVOO
put half the rosemary and unpeeled garlic cloves underneath the lamb and the other half on top of lamb (makes sure you put a bit of oil on them)
cover with a double layer of foil to seal
bake in oven 150oC for 4 hours

Trying to make a pav with a sugar substitute,  pretty awful.  Visitors for dinner so might make waffles.
Love the sound of all the roast lamb.
Judy I hope your visitors like the lemon chicken.   I also often make Isi's Light Coffee custard.

No worries Chookie, they loved everything and because I usually serve bread rolls for visitors it was a nice surprise for them to see a loaf of bread sitting there waiting to be sliced.  No time for pictures of the meal apart from the bread.

Thanks Suzanne, it is indeed a lovely loaf - never lets me down.  Pretty quick to make too when you are in a hurry.

Great meal Judy. I'm sure you received lots of compliments.

I've just cooked the quinoa in the tmx for Tasty's Nutty Protein Quinoa Balls, and prepared the ice block mixture for Alyce's Strawberry Yoghurt Sorbet.

Lovely looking loaf Judy :)

I made the sauce with my tomatoes today. I blanched and peeled the tomatoes and let them cool a bit, then I chopped an onion and 5 garlic cloves in the TMX, added the tomatoes and pureed them, then added worcestershire sauce, pepper, stock cubes, dried oregano and a little bit of thyme. It smells delicious, I'm very happy with it :)
