That would have been the perfect day for a leg of lamb with that lovely cool, wet weather MF!  ;D

Sorry to hear about the tart Suzanne, how disappointing :'( Is it from Tenina's website or one of her books?

Enjoy your lamb Katie, we love doing slow cooked roasts ;D

Doesn't it even taste good Suzanne? :(

I'm going to look up the recipe. I might give it a go and see how mine turns out.

the pastry worked out perfectly didn't shrink like her last recipe did and the custard is yummy but there's no way to slice it I'm going to take it to mum's and put it back in the oven for a good half hour maybe more I did an extra 10 minutes on top of her suggested 5 minutes and very sloppy will let you know my results I'll get this to work even if it kills me ::)

Isi's "very normal bread" (love it) and I'm  trying a recipe from Taste web site, Savoury Steak.  I used to work in a nursing home where the cook used to make this to die for ( :P) savoury steak that had Worcestershire sauce and onions in it, i found this recipe on taste that seems to have the same ingredients so thought I'd give it a go, and of course I am using my home made Worcestershire sauce from this site, which I made for the first time last week, very nice, i must say.  I was also going to make lemon panna cotta with raspberry and orange sauce, for dessert, trying to use up a whole bunch of frozen raspberries I have in the freezer but forgot to get the main ingredient the cream  :-)) so that's on the waiting list for one night during the week.

Hope you can salvage the dessert Suzanne. Fingers crossed for you. It's a real bummer when that happens.

Suzanne I just looked at the recipe on the website and there is no way that the berries could have been cooked at the same time as the custard  or else they would most certainly have sunk to the bottom. They must have been added after cooking for that photo for sure
