I'd be happy if I cooked that brioche frozzie :)

me too Frozzie  :)

100 cupcakes & 1 giant cupcake later....

For the top tier

I made quick mix cupcakes (Emeraldsue's recipe....which I always use), topped with choc fudge icing, sparkled chocolate heels (Birthday girl has shoe obsession), butterflies to symbolise her new start in life here, fish to represent her partner (he has a fishing charter business)

...and the guns because she loves hunting  ;). I made cookies & cream for the other flavour.

.....and her partner asked her to marry him on the night  8) :)
.........EAT CAKE!

Brioche normally has eggs in it and needs to sit one night in the fridge which gives it its flavour.. Traditionally you prepare it the night before to cook it the next morning or day..this recipe was a quick brioche I wanted to try out and although ok doesnt resemble the lovely flavour of a brioche at all.. More like a sweet bread without much flavour.. Wont bother again and will go back to the traditional way..

Thanks girls.. Just being a fuss pot :)

Wow wow wow maddy ... They are gorgeous and to your usually fabulous standard :). Im sure you friend loved them and how great that her partner proposed... Sweet.. I hope she said yes :)

Today after the no fuss bread and brioche made cp milo biscuits but forgot to turn down the temp sooooo some were slightly singed and rock cake like in form lol.. Will have to make again with correct temp. Then made anzac biscuits, golden syrup caketwice as first timei have no clue what happened but it overflowed and was a total disaster.. So threw it out :( never happened to me with this cake but oh well.. Made a second time and once cooled dusted and moved it ontoa plate and it broke (cake was for dh work so annoyed me as hecouldnttake that) .. Made muffins blueberry and choc chip and ended up making banana and walnut cake into cupcakes.. Also have chicken stock slow cooking... Just waiting for cakes to cool then im off to zzzz

Beautiful cupcakes, Maddy!

Do you decorate your cupcakes in the muffin tray? How do you lift them out without accidents?

Maddy that looks amazing! I bet it tasted just as good too ;D
Frozzie, you sure do have the baking bug at the moment - I'm exhausted just reading what you've baked this weekend.

Maddy, to your usual standard, they look fantastic. You must have been proud.what a display.

Frozzie, isnt it always the way. You can bake and bake everything perfect until its for something special or to give away. Sounds like you got there in the end. I am sure it will be appreciated.
