Yesterday I only used the TM to make pastry for a lemon meringue pie I made using an old recipe. I tried making the filling in the TM using my recipe but the EDC's method. It turned out only mildly thick, not enough to set for the pie, also very pale. Tastes lovely though so I added some cream and whizzed, then put into a container and chilled overnight to churn today into a lemon icecream.I ended up doing the filling the old way on the stove top which only takes a few mins and turns out wonderful.
