I have bread rising I've prepared some veggies for pickling tomorrow and I have to make something for the biscuit barrel. Also made some pumpkin soup and another rice custard.

Cookie, I can recommend Alyce's cinnamon bickies.  Have you tried them?  Just delicious and so easy.

This was the apple slice, I did have a failure with it, but it was lovely with custard for pudding.

Lots of cooking, Hally. How do u make 12L of stock? Must be a HUGE pot :)

Started making sambal paste at 4.30pm. Thought half hour was sufficient to process the chillies, onions etc and get it sautéd in the TM. But it took longer, and dinner of Hainanese Chicken Rice was served at 7.30pm. Waaay past our usual time of 6-6.30!
