Made a loaf of bread.
Haven't had time for baking lately, so it was nice to get into the kitchen.

Beautiful loaf, as usual Katie!

I'm making a couple of batches of chookie's nectarine and raspberry jam, since our raspberries have finally started to ripen in bulk.  DH picked nearly 3kg of them yesterday

My very favourite thing is all time is raspberries. Sadly they do not travel well and cost about $8 for 100 gms   If ever I do see them up here. Last time I indulged they tasted nothing like they should and made me very cross so please pack yours up and send them poste haste to poor me Karen. Nah just kidding. Enjoy. I will make do with raspberry jubes.

OMG at $8 per 100g, DH picked a fortune yesterday!

Gretchen, if I thought they would survive the trip, I would send some up to you for sure!  You might just have to come back to Adelaide for a visit and eat some, picked straight off the canes   :D

Oh you are soooooo lucky. I remember picking them as a child. My aunt would make the best jam preserves with them as well as raspberry pie. I am not unhappy with frozen ones when I feel the need. I never share. LOL!

I don't feel like cooking yet but it's nice to see what everyone else is making and one day soon hopefully, it will inspire me to greater things.

Karen, I'm envious as well. Raspberries are my favourite but I rarely buy them because they just never taste that great unless they are freshly picked.

Raspberries were marked down here on Saturday. I paid around $5 for a small punnet. We love them but they Re usually well out of my price range.

Baked two layers of a butter cake today. Will assemble it tomorrow.

I made Tenina's white chocolate cheesecake (FFS) today, and added in lots of raspberries to the mixture before cooking it.  It looked and smelled wonderful! It was sitting out on the bench cooling off, and when I came back to it there were 2 little 4-year-old-finger gouge marks in the middle of it  >:( >:(  He did say that it was yummy though  ;)
