Pear, Apple, Apricot & vanilla puree - leftover fruit from a fruit platter with a vanilla bean scraped into it, steamed then pureed!
A definite win with miss6mths...

Everything looks delicious, especially the trifle. I love trifle and raspberries
I picked what I think will be the last of my tomatoes and made the sugo from KIS. it was easy to make and was a yummy accompaniment to pasta and meatballs for dinner.

I made Johnros macaroni beef for dinner using Uni's SOS and a can of tomoatoes as the base. We didn't end up eating it because the kids decided to stay another night at friends so DH and I just had plum pudding with home made vanilla ice cream for dinner - a very lazy day.
Katie, that trifle looks great. I'm very jealous of all those fresh raspberries. Cookie that cake looks great - very decadent.

Will add pic later

Trialling some sourdough methods and recipes today. Also doing my first meal in the DreamPot.

Not much of a cooking day today. I did make pikelets (dairy free due to littlest's cows milk protein intolerance - and this way I can have some too - he's breastfed). I used the EDC recipe but with coconut milk instead of milk and nuttelex instead of butter. 3 year old didn't seem to notice they were any different from usual.

Great idea for dinner wonder. Wish my DH would let me get away with just dessert.
I'm very jealous of all the fresh raspberries too. So dear to buy fresh here.

We were quite pleased with the DreamPot meal. There was a lot of liquid, but if that concerned you it would be easy to just pop it on the stove and thicken it with cornflour. We made a Curried Chicken with Coconut Milk. It was all well cooked. We left it in the DreamPot for about 4 or so hours. Because it all has to be brought to the boil for a certain time it does take a while to prepare but you do win out as you then don't have to prepare and cook dinner later in the day.
I could have cooked the rice in the DreamPot at the same time but thought one thing at a time for the first effort.

Looks good cookie. Obviously a recipe book came with it, are there many recipes in it?
