That's a clever way to use up Easter chocolate Kim.  :D I don't know how a middle aged couple like us ended with so many Easter eggs  ???

Stacielee I might have to pm you later for some oven advice, when we get closer to having a house built.
Now I have used confit garlic it is hard to use it raw. I love how handy it is.

I have to agree with you Denise, I made up a batch yesterday using 1kg peeled garlic cloves so that should last me for a very long time even if I give some jars away.

I have two raised garden beds (800mm x 400mm) of garlic growing, I might have to consider doing some confit garlic if they make it, they are the only thing that the snails are not going after at the moment.  Is it particularly hard to make?

Robyn I wouldn't shoot you.  Each to his own. I do use mine. I just have to make myself use it.

Unexpected guests for lunch.  Took from freezer, MF ,s Scottish meat patties.  Grilled from frozen on hot plate.   Terrific,  thanks MF.
Picked a basket go salad ingredients from garden and reheated Savoury Brioche  in AF  (. Better than in oven).  Reheated pasta bake leftover from lunch 2 days ago.
Dinner tonight, cold roast beef, new potatoes from garden, more salad and eggs steamed in TMX.  Leftover Rhubarb Crumble.

Yum! I'm interested in garlic confit too. Do you need 1kg garlic? If I found it cheap enough I would love to make it. Just can't bring myself to buy overseas produce. I'ld rather peal them myself.

I have oyster mushrooms to use up. Hmm what to make.
