It all looks perfect for a winters day. No cooking here yet.

There is no recipe. Just ordinary bread dough spread and stretched over the oven  pan and loaded with the usual pizza toppings. Bake in hot oven until bottom of crust is done.  Easy peasy.

I remember that, Gert.  I can't remember when you mentioned it before, but I did print it off.  I did make it and it was really great . . .did take a photo but can't remember where it is (t'was before my i-phone)  It's particularly good if you need to feed the 5000 descending upon you (read that as 2-3 young friends of DS ;D ) If I may, here is the post, and I quote,

Gert's Pizza Base
"Here is the recipe I used from Jamie Oliver which you can find everywhere . .

21 gm yeast
30 gm honey or sugar
625 gm warm water
1 Kg bread flour
30 gm salt

He does it his way but I just chucked it all in the Thermomix and kneaded it for 5 minutes before wrapping it in my silicone mat to rise.

Then I slapped it and stretched it onto my oven tray, let it rise again for a bit before poking at it and putting toppings on.  The one you see in the pic (is this the one you just posted, Gert?) had an olive oil and basil base then grape tomatoes plus other stuff.

Turned out more like a huge pizza than a focaccia.  Very yummy and great the next day, the day after and so on . . ."

I am impressed GF that anyone would, remember anything I cook!.  I am laughing my bum off. Not  the pic of  that one which was a bit thicker but yeah it is what I do.

I like a really big pizza  so you can decide it into 4 or whatever  for, people who like their own toppings.  AndI love it cold for breakfast.

You are too funny.

Here is a four fer.

I admit I am stuck in a rut pizza wise. I like what I like. New age pizzas have there place and are quite nice but  I always go back to my girlhood .

Gert you and my DH would get along really well. He loves a traditional pizza with everything on it. They do look tasty. Just what we need over here ATM.
