Gert you and my DH would get along really well. He loves a traditional pizza with everything on it. They do look tasty. Just what we need over here ATM.

And I love making pizza. Always have . Taught  by my first love and his wonderful mother who was   Italian. She also, taught me how to make sugo.  I still have the pearl ring he gave me for my 15th birthday. He had a 1948 Dodge Convertable which was pink and cream.  Not only was he smooth and gorgeous but he was a champion gymnast with a yummy body.  Of course we only petted in those days. Pity. One regret.

Oh Gert.  ;D ;D :D

I remember your chicken sitting on the can too. Lovely food.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Wow, Gert! Your pizzas look magnificent! Love the 4 quadrants the most 😋😋 What toppings did you use for your different variations?

Anything I have in the fridge. Sometimes I use sour cream for the base with smoked salmon and capers  or maybe artichoke hearts, feta and prosciutto. Maybe I use salsa for a base with various toppings but my favourite toppings  would be hot salami., speck, mushrooms, fresh or dred chillis, olives, any old cheese, onions, confit garlic fresh tomatoes and of course ANCHOVIES!  Sometimes less is better but then again....

Cream cheese makes an good  base or pesto or maybe leftover dips like hummus . When my children were teenagers they would come up with some pretty weird pizzas.  One of their friends made a peanut butter and bacon pizza one that was delish. I think it had onions on it too.

Well after seeing Gert's pizzas, tonight's dinner is definitely a selection of pizzas :)
I'll have the zucchini/pesto one and the boys will have more traditional ones.

Thanks Gert. I have copied your recipe that GF kindly posted. Do you cut your quadrants before baking? How hot is your oven? My miserable Neff can only go up to about 170c at fan force.

The Hotmix has come home again for a couple of days so that I can give the rep a hand with a couple of recipes for him to demo....so far I've made a salted caramel sauce and a normal caramel sauce and its now cooking a balsamic salsa.  I'm also planning a batch of red pepper relish, lemon curd, and some caramel fudge and chocolate fudge....depending on how my day goes.

Good one Stacelee. I am hoping the new model Thermomix will have a higher temp for caramelisation. Be cool if it does.

That is not such a hot oven BZB. Yikes how do you manage?  Well, rev it up as high as. Just will take longer. You can cut it before just as easily or after. I think I did it before on the one in the pic. I like the crust brown and crispy on the bottom to avoid sog.

With an oven like that it might pay to par bake the crust before adding the toppings and popping it back in. Yes I think I would do that so the topping does not over cook.

Let me know how it goes.

You could always use a satay sauce or curry sauce for the base to make a spicy beef or chicken. Yum.

Gert do you have a photo of his dodge

Sadly when I left the US I took only a small amount of my worldly belongings and photos were one of the things I sacrificed. I can still see that car and the handsome hunk in it when I close my eyes and dream of lost loves. It had real leather cream coloured bench seats.

Among the photos left behind were two more precious ones of Elvis and me and Pat Boon and me. Anyway I don't need photos to remember in my minds eye.
