Maddy, the cake looks fantastic.  Please let us know how the zucchini substitution turns out.

Cathy, the zucchini worked well actually.
I used 160g carrot, and 140g zucchini.
Also used whole almonds instead of flaked.
Not as orange in colour of course but a lovely dense and moist cake.

Edit:  I did have to cook it about 5-7 minutes longer.

Tonight I have made the Chocolate Alternative from the Vegetarian book and just whipped up a batch of banana/avocado ice-cream - will post recipe.

It's funny the whole new world of food options that tmx opens up isn't it? These kind of things I'd have never imagined making a couple of years ago!

Started the day by making more milo to fill the can, and then made Banana Choc Custard - delicious.

DH has been begging for steak, so made Mushroom Sauce from EDC - the recipe makes heaps, so will freeze quite a lot.  Then made JudyDawn's Parmesan Potatoes, and steamed some pumpkin while cooking the potatoes.  The pumpkin became Pumpkin Sultana Oatmeal Cookies.

Maddy, how do you make ferreros?

 8) well it's a recipe I "abducted" from a prehistoric magazine, in a waiting room  ;)
Haven't tried it as yet, but if any good.....I will post it tomorrow.
Basically ingredients were crushed nuts, milk chocolate, rice bubbles, copha, and  hazlenuts.
To be continued........ :D

Sounds interesting maddy.

Today (or tonight) I've made Brons Meatballs (DD's absolute favourite!), mash spud, steamed veggies, double batch of raspberry cordial with reduced sugar (will reduce again next time), about to do the banana and blueberry muffins, milo and some pumpkin soup for DD's lunch tomorrow as she's been off her food this week but loves pumpkin soup and a bit nicer than a boring sanga again....  :-))

I made a Victoria sponge with whipped cream and strawberries for assembled family (to go with a coffee and walnut cake I made yesterday), and a blood orange sorbet for me... :)

Our staff got the recipe from a Tupperware party as an incentive for them to buy the silicon ice cube trays.  They all did for some astronomical price and I then told them that they can buy the same at the local shop for 1/4 the price !!!

We had a Ferrero-athon for awhile - hard to resist. But as somebody said in the recipe thread - they are bigger than the normal ones - so only ONE !!

Last night made Spaghetti Marinara,   made the tomato sauce in the TMX.  Dinner Party tomorrow night,  so today cooked, isi's portuguese rolls ,  small version ,  to go with Cream of Celery soup,  For sweets isi's coffee one and my chocolate one both from the Forum.  All to go with roast lamb,  beans from the garden, Ratatouille, and smashed potatoes.  Think I will also make a smoked salmon dip to go with that new cocktail made with oranges and gin.   Think we will try this one tonight to see what it is like ;D ;D ;D

Visitors for lunch today. Served them weber roasted leg of lamb, potatoes, parsnips and pumpkin, steamed broccoli & cauli then made some cheese sauce and also steamed some beans & carrots. Made the gravy in the TMX too.  For dessert I whipped up Jo's 30 second choc-nut ice cream and served it with a madeleine then later in the afternoon I made Jo's raspberry smoothie for them as well.  They went home with full bellies and were not going to have anything for tea.

Oops, forgot isi's Portuguese rolls too - they went down a treat.
