Tried my hand at a roasted veg tart after tasting a lovely one down in Margaret River at the weekend, pleased with result

The tarts look good, rainbow. Is the recipe from our forum?

Beautiful looking food.
I've re filled the bread tin and have some baguettes rising from the UK newsletter.

that reminds me... where would I get strong wholemeal bread flour from? I heard that normal plain flour can make your bread heavy. I had a look in WW today but couldnt see any wholemeal baking flour  ??? ???

I made the pastry in TMX but had left over roast veg and then used 4 eggs to 1/4 cup of cream for the eggy bit and topped with cheese, just abit of salt and pepper as vegies were flavoursome

in WW chookie? I saw only bread mixes. do you know if you can get malt extract from the supermarket? I have found a bread shop about half an hour away that I'll go to tomorrow otherwise.

I get organic wholemeal bread flour from angry almond in nedlands or all about bread in greenwood. Angry almond is more convenient for me but doesn't always have it stocked.

CP,  I would use the Laucke bread mix and either cut down any sugar and salt or even leave it out altogether.
You might have to get the malt from health food shop.

CP, I've bought it from both Coles and Woolies.  It looks like this:

Thank you so much, you've saved me a good hour and a half. I'll call angry almond first, and have a look at WW. I think I've seen that tin many times near the Milo. I thought perhaps that would be too simple and I'd have to maybe find a beer making shop  :-))
