Pork Wontons in chicken broth for lunch and salmon risotto for dinner followed by fresh Mangos.

Am demonstrating at our church's Nourish programme on Thursday. It's a vegertarian Christmas menu.
I'm in charge of the cranberry chutney and the seasoned potatoes.

Michele, that sounds interesting.
Made Mayo followed by 2  second salad. Then used the mandolin to grate extra threads of cabbage to mix through. The cabbage was from the garden.
Made more protein balls.
Found some cooked chick peas in freezer so will make some dip and falafel.

The Age newspaper has an item on different ways to make Sushi. It is visually beautiful. I posted a recipe last year called deconstructed Sushi. Same idea but not as beautiful looking. Nice to run ahead of trends.  :oI cooked the rice in the TMX.

Will post the one I tried today. I made a few changes but it is pretty good as is. It is calledSuper-Fast Dutch Oven Bread and is from the Whyisthereair.com site.

That bread looks amazing Chookie.

The pavalova's are great, just like using egg white. I topped with pear "cream" and blue berries. DH thought it was good.
Taking the rest for the cooking team to try out tomorrow.

I love what you've made Michele and Chookie.

Both lots of food look delicious. So clever to do the pavlovas Mich. Chookie I follow whyisthereair too. She has some hilarious pictures on Instagram. She and her husband are into cars as well. The bread looks lovely.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I've been making a few things for the nursing home trading table on the 6th December.  Tonight I made a couple of things from the Festive Flavour cookbook, chocolate hazelnut kisses and almond addiction plus a batch of salted caramel fudge.  In the past couple of weeks I've also bottled up some vanilla extract, made some vanilla paste, worcestershire sauce, sweet chilli sauce, Tenina's dried apricot conserve, FOSM and herb bags for cooking corned beef.  A few more items to make in coming days.

OMG Judy. How on earth do you find time? Like the idea of the herb bags for the Corned beef.
We tried the new bread. It is very nice and will make it again, often. Thought I might try some rye and caraway seed next.

Gosh Judy you have indeed been very busy.
Rye and caraway sounds nice Chookie. I must get some more rye flour as I have run out. None of the shops nearby have it.
