Great cooking everyone.

I was up early this morning so made some Sultana & Rice Bubble Cookies.  They spread out all over the trays :(  but no doubt they will be eaten.

I'm sure they will. That happens to me at times too. Especially with a new recipe. They sound very nice.

Trying out a new casserole recipe.  Oyster Blade Steak with French Onion Sauce.  Couldn't get oyster blade so bought rump.  Made my own french onion soup mix from here.  No plum sauce so melted some plum jam and added a bit of chilli sauce.  Be interesting to see how it turns out. :)

Thembexta's Coconut lemon Dahl for tonight's dinner . Made a grain salad again to take to a BBQ tomorrow. Lemon slice from the Facebook forum, for hungry kids . DS made Anzac and butter biscuits while DD made cupcakes that raised like an icecream , with strawberry icing and a strawberry on top . Their creations are meant for BBQ too. Had to help clean up as it was 6 pm when they finished , dinner needed to be started . All in bed an early night I hope , day light savings I still not sure why we do it except it was very early sunrise this morning .

I didn't cook anything other than pizza for dinner. I always use Jamberie's pizza base.

After last week's clootie dumpling disaster (it was a 'cheats' version) I made a proper one yesterday and it turned out really well, so I am happy now!  Also made a lentil and black bean chilli, asparagus benedict with a vegan hollandaise sauce, baked tofu 'buffalo' bites with a tahini dressing (I also had to make the mayonnaise and buffalo sauce for this dish), Roasted balsamic potatoes and, finally, a roast vege frittata.

Could kick myself this morning. Yesterday I wanted to make Monte Carlo biscuits as we have tradies coming this week.  Looked through all my baking cook books for a recipe to convert. None.  Used the internet to find a recipe. Taste provided one. Converted this with a couple of changes and baked 1/2 .  This morning I thought I had better check the Forum before I posted. And there was a similar recipe converted by Judy. Thanks Judy you have saved me a lot of trouble.
You asked a question about storage. I baked 1/2 but only filled enough for Ral to taste test. I kept the un filled. baked biscuits in the biscuit tin and the Butter cream in the fridge. Will fill as required.
The other 1/2 of the dough I rolled in glad wrap as a log and have frozen. Will use when required.
I will record the changes under Judy’s recipe.

Same here. My parents used to have a lovely Mulberry tree.

I've made a Classic loaf, substituting some of the flour for Spelt and putting in 50g of oatbran in the flour weight. This has become our daily bread now it is sort of warming up.
