Made 3 dips today Sweet and sour Capsicum over Philly cheese, Hummus and spicy Red Capsicum, and plain Hummus.

He certainly is Judy.

A million years ago I used to board with a French lady. She often served artichokes. They were nice enough but as you say a lot of preparation.

I have a Probus sub-committee meeting here tomorrow so I made a boiled carrot cake and some Madeleines for afternoon tea.

They sound yummy. I ordered a Christmas rolling pin from ebay and hope to try it this afternoon with some shortbread. It will probably be hopeless as I ordered the cheapest one I could find in Australia. I also have some SD starter out and fed to make some Classic bread.

Just made Orange blossom, yoghurt and cardamom cake ! In the oven now . The batter was very light . This is for DD 16 Th Birthday . She will get it tomorrow when she comes home .

Katie, that cake sounds very nice.  Happy 16 th to DD.
I made my GD a Lemon Feather Cake for her 16 th. She loved it.

The cake flavour was nice but the texture was dense it looked ok . Was a little disappointing , maybe have to do take two .
