Mab, which recipe did you use for the Chilli Sauce.? I have 2 , Quite different. Both nice. The new loaf with grain and oats is better as it has aged. The new American bread book, for bread machines , has oats in a lot of recipes.
Hope that loaf turns out well. DH often makes 'porridge' bread, with rolled oats, Chookie, it's really delicious. Not sure of the recipe / procedure, but I think he makes porridge first then adds that into the mixing bowl ... I could be wrong, I have never watched him making it.
