For lunch today we had farfallina's chicken cordon blue.  I had some mustard cream sauce in the freezer so served it with that and some steamed vegies, crispy potato slices and some leftover spinach and carrot slice - far too big a meal :-)) :-)) :-)) As the cordon bleu is rich in itself, the sauce was unnecessary so with the leftovers I will just serve them with a salad.  Thanks farfallina, DH said he hasn't had these for many years.  You never see them on the menu anywhere these days so thanks for posting the recipe and reminding us of the good old days.

I've got the slow cooker working for me today. Will proabably steam some vegies to go with it.

We just finished dinner of Quirky Jo's Meatball, Vege and Bean soup.  I can highly recommend it.  My soup was a beautiful red colour, and would have been delicious even without the meatballs.

Apart from that, we've been enjoying JudyDawn's various spinach recipes, JudyDawn's chicken soup regular batches of Bible bread and, I almost forgot, Quirky Jo's Apple-Berry Custard Crumble.

Seems we're having a Quirky/Judy week at our house  ;).

I made Judy's Sweet Orange Chicken today and it was so nice.  I also made fettuccine Alfredo from scratch to serve as a side and also mashed sweet potato and grilled zucchini slices.   :D

Cathy, thanks for the link to Jo's meatball soup - I know DH will love that one.  What an honour to find my name in the same sentence as QuirkyJo  ;D ;D  You are certainly cooking up a storm.

This morning I made QuirkyJo's Raw cereal  for my breakfast, then Nay-Nay's " you can't have too many muffins" which I took for "elevenses" at my weekly morning upholstery class.They went down a treat with the class.
This afternoon I helped a friend who took delivery of her Thermomix cook in her new machine.She had stage fright!We made Leek and Potato soup,Isi's bread rolls,rhubarb compote, sorbet and bafa's Award Winning Creamy Chicken and Veggies in the Varoma.Gave her the tip about how to fit the butterfly.Everything turned out great.I then rushed home.Oh! I forgotten to take something out the freezer!!Found a couple of red peppers in the bottom of the fridge, so I rustled up Red Pepper ( Capsicum) soup  and while that was cooking grilled bacon to make BLT's.DH loved the soup( have we had this before? Yes Dear!)We then finished off the Chocolate Fudge Cake.

The quince jam is done and tastes and looks lovely. I only used half the weight of the liquid and quinces of sugar and it seems to have been just about right. Thank you Thermomixer. :-*

Tonight I made Isi's prawn soup,  it really is lovely.  I increase the flour to 50g.,  and  increase the prawns to 500g.

Cookie I tried Quince Jelly but it ended up like Quince Toffee.... but think we narrowed it down to using Raw Sugar. Janine knew of another person that had a similar result using raw sugar as well. So now with Quinces I'll only use white sugar.

Home alone tonight so decided to cook. Well put Thermie on to cook anyway. I've got a TMX demo tomorrow and I thought I would have a display of what you can make at home. Tonight I have made up Berry Cordial, mayonnaise, coffee syrup, chocolate topping, lemon butter, yogurt, vegie stock and I already had made rosella jam and tomato sauce - do you think they'll be impressed?? :-)
