All so industrious!

I've only made a Brazen's Carrot Cake, my Great Patty Cakes and chopped up onion, ginger, chilli and garlic for a Thai Soup that I cooked on the hob because it was too much Herman. Cooked rice for Fried Rice (JD, do you make your Fried Rice in the Thermomix?), steamed vegies and made some mayo.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

No MJ, I have tried a few rice recipes off the forum but for genuine Chinese takeaway fried rice, I use the wok or a large non stick frying pan.  I just make sure the rice has some vegies added, make an omelette, roll it up and slice it through, saute some bacon and onion and set the omelette, bacon and onion aside whilst I toss the rice/vegie mix around in a sprayed pan, sprinkle it with soy sauce and add the ingredients I've set aside.  Doesn't take long and all the preparation can be done hours before with the rice being done the day before or taking it out of the freezer in the morning. If I want to be flash I put prawns in there too.

Last night we had chicken breast with the EDC sundried tomato and capsicum dip spread over and under them and cooked in the varoma, with polenta chips as I had run out of potatoes. I steamed the rest of the vegies in the top of the varoma.

When I remembered to take the photo there wasn't many left!  They could have done with a bit more browning but the masses were hungry.

Today for lunch I made Herbed Honey Meatballs and served it with Seeded Mustard sauce, both from Meat on the Menu along with mashed potato and steamed vegies. Will put the review in the correct place.

They certainly are Cookie.  With the leftovers I will do a tomato based sauce and add the meatballs to it - maybe spaghetti & meatballs.

Or try them on a pizza - works with other meatballs.

Today I've made Arrabiatta sauce (EDC pge 63) and added my leftover meatballs and then cooked some spaghetti, did a batch of chicken and vegie soup, a loaf of Isi's normal bread and farfallina's strawberry ice-cream.

I managed to get a bit done yesterday. The bases for the pizza, a mango custard that was ok but I'm sure could be better and the Date Crumble off this site which is ever so tasty.
