Using some of my left-over chilli infused pork roast from yesterday, tonight I whipped up a stir-fry based on the one in the EDC (pge 92 of my book) but used 1 tblspn soy sauce, 1 tblspn honey and enough water to make a nice sauce. Added hokkein noodles to bulk it out a bit as I didn't have a lot of vegies in the fridge.  Tasted great.  Hard to spot the meat as most of it ended up on DH's plate  :D :D

Both our guys love pork belly Chookie - mine would leave home for a decent feed of it.  I could send him over to your place  :D :D

It is actually RAINING a little here today so I am going to make the Gourmet Beef Casserole from the forum. I think I may put it in a casserole dish when it's cooked and put some dumplings on the top.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

:) CC I hope you are getting better. If you still have your head cold try this.
Stick  a peeled whole garlic clove under your foot at night when you go to bed.
use elastoplast to keep in place.
great for kids too that hate medicine.
It certainly helps relieve a cold.

Cooking today, chocolate muffins, bread,  roast beef and veges.

My cold is subsiding thanks Robyn. I will give the clove of garlic a go, at least it will keep the vampires away :D :D

Yep  ;)  It's a silicone one, and the cakes popped out so easily!
Hope your feeling better CC.

On the mend thanks Maddy. Can't get on with silicone, tried a muffin one once and they all got stuck.Sent it to the charity shop and I'm very reluctant to try again.
