I made Cindi's protein smoothie for breakfast. I did half as much again as I read somewhere that its outrageously high in calories and I wanted skinny ds1 to try it. I gave him a third which he loved, drank half of mine and when upstairs for a bath telling him he could help himself to mine if he wanted. Got back into the kitchen after the school run to find he's had the lot!!! Can barely believe my boy has gone to school with such a fabulous breakfast inside him!
Also made choc chip scones - they don't last long in my house - and have a starter on the go for teacakes. Will finish those later. If time I also hope to make some whoopie pies and tea (for the boys) will be macaroni cheese.
Clearly my creative output is fully in the kitchen as I can't get to my sewing machine. Thank you Thermomix, my creativity would be truly frustrated without you!!!

Judy, they're like a sandwiched cake biscuit. They are huge in the US, and I think they're as popular as the cupcake.
I made some banana ones a little while ago

Sort of like a sponge kiss maddy or is it a heavier biscuit? I really thought it was going to be a savoury thing

Yes, a sponge kiss is a perfect description
You can make them savoury as well.

I love powder puffs. I saw a WW book for whoopee pies the other day. I may have to have a better look.

Chocolate cake and flapjacks.I haven't made flapjacks for Millennia but tasted some recently at a friends house. Her daughter had made them in her cookery class at school, they were really good and she gave me the easy recipe. You can't beat some school recipes for simplicity and taste.

LMT, I found this recipe for flapjacks which look nothing like our pancakes. Perhaps CC would like to post her recipe & her take on the difference between flapjacks & pancakes.
