I bought a dragonfruit to make the fruity dream on Jo's blog and the kids have eaten most of the strawberries already lmao

Will make it when they're not around... trying to work out how to know when the dragonfruit is ripe!!!

Lucky you faffa! I went shopping yesterday and tomatoes were almost $8 a kilo. Sometimes I wish I lived in an area with markets, roadside stalls, etc. Mostly the food we use comes from Woolies or Coles.

Great going Kathryn - you'll be sick of the sight of tomatoes by the end of the day though  ;D ;D

Wow Faffa- thats a mighty effort. I though I had done well with a double batch of Maddy's Cheese & Bacon rolls, some Cheese & Vegemite Scrolls and Chelsea's Apple Streusel Teacake but my effort pales into insignificance next to yours. Are you sick of the sight of tomatoes yet  :D :D

Did you make the berry cordial out of the tomatoes too Kathryn?   I've heard of tomato jam using concentrated cordial extract but not cordial itself.  I hope this is not a stupid question :-)) :-))

No the berry cordial was for something that didn't contain tomatoes  ;D ;D plus the kidlets were wanting their treat. They rarely get anything other than water and the odd bit of milk to drink. We have the odd bit of lemon or berry cordial on the weekends  ;)

Another batch of BBQ sauce today and roasted more for some more passata.

I still have nearly a whole box left lol - tomorrows job

I'm exhausted reading that Kathryn.

Snoozie, your dragon fruit will be slightly soft to the toouch when it is ripe. I love them, especially the pink/red flesh ones.

Made some filled bread rolls.  Would make a pretty good start to a dinner party as it looks kind of impressive (yummy too).  The options for fillings are just about endless...
