Chookie's right Hally, once you master a recipe it is then so easy to move onto other things.  I had no luck with bread to start with but after my first success, I will now try anything and rarely have a flop. It is the best feeling, taking a loaf or a batch of rolls out of the oven - no matter how often you do it, it is still a wonderful feeling and I take each and every thing into DH to show him. He probably thinks, oh no not again  :D :D

Warning:  One should not fall asleep whilst dough is in the thermomixer rising!    :-))

Who knew so much dough could fit through the MC hole.   :o

Well it was midnight when I woke to this so just chucked it in a bread tin and turned the oven on and put if straight in whilst it was heating up.  Looks like a nice loaf of bread but I'm sure those Teenage DS's will confirm this one way or the other in the am.  They wll be slightly devasted however that there are no actual rolls. :D

This really made me chuckle, especially as it is just the sort of thing I would do.

Trish, that is so funny. Not so funny for me with my last batch of rolls, was having my oven on grill! Flat very brown things that ended up in the bin.

I keep thinking of Isi's comment about the dough looking out the hole.
Bedlam,  I have tried to bake with no heat on in the oven ;D ;D ;D,  You might have to get some chooks,  and the rejests will come back as eggs. :-)) :-))

Just felt I should say thanks again for this recipe. I have been feeling so proud of my bread using this recipe as a base.( my family are fed up with me saying how clever I am). Today made 9 large rolls ,plain. And a loaf with pepitos, sunflower and sesame seeds in and on( it just looks lovely and tastes wonderful) If I knew how I would post a photo( mind, I think my family would think I was taking things too far). THANK YOU.
