Wonder it's not a Tmx recipe but a women's weekly recipe mum has always made on the stovetop. I can't believe you have never tried them Judy and CC. Think golden syrup scones cooked in a gooey sauce. Very rich but very nice.

CC, is that the soup recipe from quirky Jo's book, if so, I have made it numerous times without the meatballs, it is still a beautiful hearty soup.

Nice looking syrup dumplings Kimmy.  We had some for dessert a few nights ago.  They are a lovely old fashioned comfort food.

Last night we had Irish Stew made in the SC.

We had Adriano Zumbo's Pie Burger. The taste was lovely. I did the pastry, filling and top exactly to his recipe. Then when I was about to roll the pastry out I couldn't find my small pie plates so had to make do with what I had.  :-\

One more. The filling was quite rich and flavoursome so balanced the large roll on the top.

A Mary Berry chicken dish tonight. I couldn't resist grabbing a couple of cookbooks I don't have from the library.

We had a vegetarian lasagne tonight. It was very nice. Pasta made in the pasta machine, pumpkin roasted in the AF and the sauce and extra Vegies done in the thermomix.

After being away for a week I was keen to have a home cooked dinner without doing any shopping. Managed to make Judy's tomato soup using tinned tomatoes, vegetable soup using the chip recipe and the Vienna loaf made into two loaves - one with garlic butter and one plan. The meal was enjoyed by all.

Great cooking Wonder. We're having a Manu dish of Pasta, Mushrooms and Speck in a white, cheese sauce. It smells lovely. As it's so cold DH followed the chip on the TM 5 and made Pumpkin soup. He was very pleased with himself.

Cookie, great that DH is expanding his repertoire beyond Rice pudding haha.
We had Syrian Chicken (recipe community) over wholemeal couscous. Always tasty!
