Wow, what a compliment, thanks Tenina!  :D

We are having left overs tonight.  Yesterday I made Delia Smith's Chicken Pot pie, with some mash and green beans on the side.  It was really lovely as the leeks, carrots and herbs were cooked in apple cider for a few mins then the chicken breasts were added and cooked for a few more mins until tender,  the cooking liquid was then drained off and reduced to only about 1 1/2 tbs.  Not much I know but there was lots of flavour.  It was then added to a light cheese sauce along with the leeks, carrots and cut up chicken. Topped off with lovely puff pastry sprinkled with finely grated parmesan it made for a nice dinner and there's enough to warm up for tonight, though I may make chips to go with for a change.  :)

I agree Frozzie.   Out for lunch today so spaghetti on toast for dinner,  made the Bacon Dust out of In the Mix,  so sprinkled a bit on top to test it.  Very good.  Also made a loaf of Malted wheat ,  cooked in the bread machine.[quote

OMG YUM YUM YUM..... Al these photos of food are making me hungry LOL

I so agree with Frozzie and ACW.... The other day I had alook at all your posts JulieO and you are a very talented cook and photographer. I am waiting for my invite to be your taste tester LOL

Maddy your Chorizo and Capsicum rissotto looks so yum, may have to make this one when DS isn't here as I am sure the chorizo is full of nasties. Or maybe one to try in the school holidays when he doesn't have school to deal with the next day. I am less strict in the holidays as I am more willing to cope with his behaviour after eating the wrong food than his teacher.

Thanks DG......you could always use mince instead, and perhaps add in some of the home made taco seasoning for the flavour and a little kick?

Thanks Dizzy.  :D

Friday night I made a mushroom and cashew curry.  Though it's not what I call a curry, not enough spices!  But it was nice and flavoursome, we really enjoyed it.

Would be a nice accompaniment to a steak or chicken fillet Julie - is that recipe from the Mushroom board?

No I don't thinks so Judy.  I've had it in my To Do list for many months, obviously saw it somewhere on line and liked the sound of it.  :)
