Last night we had a pork roast done on the weber with whole kumara, TM steamed vege mix then made gravy with the leftover vege water plus meat juices
Also had spinach roulade and oven roasted tomatoes
Tonight....something with leftover ham bone, thinking soup probably - if so I'll made some bread rolls to go with it

It's a 5:2 diet day today so I shouldn't be looking at this page! Big plate of salad for me tonight, perhaps with a hard boiled egg or a spoon of hummous.

Thanks for that, Michelle. Soup is a life-saver on the 5:2 (especially at this time of year!).

Happy birthday Mr Cookie, why not have what you want on your special day. I've got 2 dogs on my lap, don't know how I'll be able to get them off to prepare something as we've all had a tiring day.

One is always pepperoni, cheese, red onion, capsicum, anchovies and mushrooms on a tomato base. Tonight the other was pesto base with roasted pumpkin, bacon and bocconcini.

Happy Birthday from here also, Mr Cookie.
Pizzas sound good.
Tonight we had Recipe Tin Eats Mum Japanese Chicken Teriyaki. It was absolutely delicious. We had it with veggies steamed in Varoma. I would double the sauce if feeding 4 . Her tip about soaking up any fat that comes out of the chicken skin is a good idea.
