DS made a Chicken Rogan Josh Curry and gave me two portions for our dinner tonight. Just need to steam some basmati rice to have with it. He also gave us 4 wholemeal rolls that he made too.
Lucky you.  Ask him if he would like a trip to Australia.

DS sounds a handy cook to have nearby Denise.

We are having a sort of stir fried rice with smoked salmon.
He’s a great cook Cookie and lovely that he lives near us so we can eat up any lovers he wants to pass onto us.

We are very lucky that he’s a great cook Chookie. I’m sure he would love visiting Australia.
He says he going to make a Chocolate Cream Pie for a dessert Christmas Day. If I remember I will take a photo of the pie.

I cooked Asian Beef and Noodles from recipetineats. We loved it. It was so quick and tasty.

Happy birthday to GD Chookie.

I haven’t cooked anything for a while and I wasn’t really even hungry tonight but this potato dish came to mind and I had to make them. Mum used to give them to me for breakfast occasionally when I was a kid and I love them as did my girls.

Mock fish as Mum called them.

No cookie, Mum didn’t do that one. I googled it to find out what it was though.  Do you still make that?

Chookie, it’s just grated potato with an egg, S & P added. I cook them in vegetable oil as it is the only one that makes them so crisp.

No Judy, Mum never made mock chicken. When I went to boarding school they used to give us mock chicken sandwiches for lunch!! I hated it and would always trade it with one of the day girls who always had ryvita and cheese. It was preferable to the mock chicken.

Tonight's dinner is Chilli con carne from the freezer and I am going to try a cauliflower waffle recipe.
