Yes it was delicious Julie, I don’t cook steak very often so I was surprised it was so good.  I only served up half the piece of the 200g piece of steak so with the extra veggies I always cook, tonight I’ll be having the same meal.

DS turned up with a lamb curry, naan bread he had cooked this morning. Plus beetroot, blackberries and tomatoes out of his garden.

I made a pasta dish for DH and this Michelle B meal for me: miso salmon with cauli fried rice.  It was so tasty.  DH had a bite and asked if he could have a serve next time I make it.  :D
Julie I finally got around to trying this recipe tonight https://glamadelaide.com.au/cookbook-extract-12wbt-low-carb-solution/ although I only made the miso salmon as I had plenty of leftover veggies to heat up.  I cooked it in a metal dish in the AirFryer for 7 minutes and sprayed it half way through as it seemed a title dry. It was perfect, I loved it and will use this recipe whenever I want a quick salmon meal. I reckon it would work on chicken too.

Yum Judy.  I bet it would go great on chicken and your potato bake as a side would be perfect with it too.  ;D

Yes do try it Chookie, it’s messy to prepare but worth the effort.  When I use chicken I’ll slash it so that the mixture goes in as well as over.  I have some tenderloins out for tomorrow’s tea so will try it on them.  Tonight I’m having SC Coq-au-vin which I cooked last night.  This is one of the benefits of our members sharing their dinner ideas, thanks Julie.

I love salmon but DH isn’t very fond of it.
We are having corned beef and veggies in the SC tonight. We will be having a cute unicorn cupcake as dessert as the young lass down the road has had a birthday and wanted to bring us a cake. I think she would be about 5. Her Dad is a house dad which I think is wonderful.

They are a gorgeous family JulieO.
We are having borscht with SD bread and DD and DH are making vareniki, which are like piroshki but the Ukrainian version that MIL used to make.

The miso chicken tenderloins worked out well, they were so small they didn’t need to be slashed but a chicken fillet would.  I sprayed a little pan and cooked these on the stove top, served with broccoli/cauliflower rice with mixed veggies.

Judy, you are having a great time trying different recipes. Great fun.  Keep posting as it is inspiring.
Last night we had roast beef with mashed potatoes, broccoli, carrot and sweet potato. Then baked apples.  Rey easy as all baked in oven except the broccoli. Same meal tonight as have leftovers.

Yesterday I cut up a large piece of porterhouse. I made 2 roasts and 7 2 slice packets.  I vacuum sealed all except 2 pieces that I grilled on the BBQ for lunch. I’m glad to say it was tasty and tender.
Tonight we are having a ham salad. A friend made some vinegar made  from her Medlars.  It is different and makes a lovely salad dressing. I also made Farfallinas New York Rye bread. We will have a slice of that also.

Some great dinners being cooked.
Leftovers for me tonight, we had some friends up from Sydney yesterday for lunch. Was lovely catching up with them.
