I had stir fried spiralised veggies with a couple of slices of reheated chicken loaf from the freezer.

We had roast chicken and roast veggies last night. It was delicious.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I was curious to see how this recipe would work out, cooking winglets in the TM bowl.  Supposed to use 1kg, my 2 packs came to 1.3kg but the bowl handled them well. At the end of cooking, I removed one and pulled it apart to make sure they were cooked and they were, tasted good but I had an idea.  I put a large non-stick frypan over a flame and added the chicken in one layer until sizzling.  I then poured in about half of the cooking liquid and allowed that to reduced down to a lovely sticky mess, turning the chicken over now and then until coated in the goo  ;D  Much more flavourful and only took a few mins to do. I would do this again.

I cooked rice in the TM5 while the chicken was cooking in the 6. Will serve the chicken over the rice with a drizzle of the reserved cooking sauce and just a side salad.

As you can imagine, not a lot of meat on the winglets but it has made lots of them so they will still make a filling meal with the rice and salad.  :)

Great idea Julie, they look very tasty.

Tonight I had Thai chicken curry/wholemeal pasta/steamed veggies.

Thanks Judy, DH just said they were delicious, so it's a win  ;D

I picked up a box of this pasta today from woolies for the next time I need to have some.  Made from chickpeas, they look good will be interesting to see what they taste like.

The box says;

Barilla Chickpea Casarecce, made with just 1 ingredient: 100% chickpea flour! It's Gluten Free, rich in plant-based protein and full of fibre. Taste the difference! Casarecce is a shorter pasta noodle that appears to be rolled upon itself with a groove down the middle and traditionally pairs well with Pesto recipes. Barilla Chickpea Casarecce cooks to al dente perfection in just 10 minutes.

Carbs, Av quantity per 85g serving; 38.3g.  Does that sound right?  I really don't know what 'normal' pasta would be, I've only used wholemeal pasta when having it in MB recipes.  Thought this chickpea one would be interesting.  I see there's also a red lentil penne too.

Thanks Julie, I also use wholemeal pasta and a serving for diabetics is 1/3 cup cooked (70g), that’s not a lot but it’s OK for me as I don’t need to eat a lot of pasta.  Next time I’m at Woolies I’ll compare the nutritional information of some of the different types of pasta.

JulieO the protein in chickpeas is meant to be high , good for building up protein in a diet . Looks interesting.

Love Chicken wings.  Usually use RTE method, but reduce the baking powder.  Julie, that does sound nice. 
I’ve also got some of that pasta.  Haven’t used it yet.
Last night we had a made up stir fry.  Lots of red capsicum, mushrooms and green beans, then added Squid tubes, then precooked pasta.  I added a bit much chilli flakes but otherwise delicious.
