CC, sounds like lovely comfort food.
I have been doing the Jamie Oliver trick and squeezing the pork sausages out of their skins and dry frying the blobs and then adding tomato pasta sauce,

That sounds nice Chookie. I made some sausage mince the other day using mince. I put breadcrumbs, spices and a bit of water nd whizzed it up. It turned out well.

I should do that Chookie, I’ve seen it done on cooking shows (I’ve been watching plenty lately).
Not dinner but my lunch today, I’ve progress to this type of salad.  I used cos lettuce but iceberg is much better.

Judy that is great, I really love salad.
Last night we had a Chicken Pie from the Women's Weekly pie book, number 2. I only made a half quantity and it made 5 pies.

Thanks ladies, I have really missed a basic salad this summer, it will be a regular now until the cold weather comes in. DD was quick to point out that it won’t help me put weight back on but it is progress as far as I’m concerned.
