Robyn, the pudding looks great, did you boil on the stove top?

We are having fried rice and marinated pork ribs tonight. Marinated the ribs last night with a combination of hoisin and some left over soy garlic marinade - hope they taste ok and fried rice. Left all the instructions for DH so should be ready when I get home.

Tacis from olde el passo to use up a box. Much prefer the seasoning & sauce from here, but all about getting the pantry down.

Marinaded lamb backstrap (bought on special again) with vegies.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Trudy posted a recipe in budget meal ideas for poor mans steak - an Amish recipe. It sounded interesting so I gave it a go.
It was very nice but it was like a rissole and no way would it pass as steak. Next time will just make rissoles or use blade steak.
Had it with cauliflower cheese, potato in the jacket, peas & carrots.
