We still haven't eaten!! I'm starving, but DH is fixing his truck, so I'm off to scoff some soup while I'm waiting.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

What a kind neighbour you have Judy, that has made me happy :)

Last night I decided on stir-fried pork, rice and vegies to use up the leftover rice and some pork from the freezer ;)
Tonight I'll be grilling a couple of T-bone steaks for mum and SD. I might have a mushroom omelette :D

Uni, I've found you need a lot of sauce with wholemeal spaghetti. I will only use it in really saucy pasta bakes because we don't like the flavour or textue otherwise ;)

Beef stroganoff and home made fettuccine. It was great, no leftovers although Haeckel some aside for DD which we are going to trial with Quirky Jo's dairy free sour cream.
