Well last nights trial recipe dinner was a ....success!! Went down with no complaints all round - DH and Miss6 both had second helpings then have taken the leftovers for their lunches today!
Love it when a new recipe is well recieved!
Tonight: meatballs in tomato sauce stuff on bread rolls with salad.

I'm glad you enjoyed the tuna slice, we love that one too
Tonight will be the chicken biryani. Or fried rice with the leftover rice from last night

Slow cooker beef casserole and I want to try steaming some small yeast dumplings to go with it.

Oooh Yum! Cookie, How'd it go?
We had Quirky Jo's Healthy Fried Rice
I love that it is healthy and makes enough for two meals...very handy for keeping mess to a minimum

Tonight I'm using the TMX for the whole meal. I don't do this very often, but was inspired listening to a consultant today at a market day in Gnowangerup. I believe she's joined the forum, too!
Thai Sweet Potato Soup
, followed by a version of
Baf's Chicken in Varoma
, except I didn't use the Varoma!!
I made it a little differently and will post the method later on. Because I prepared it a little before we planned on eating it, I did it in stages, utilising the ThermoServer.

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

My neighbour bought me over a roast beef meal - very nice too as it's been a long time since I've had a beef roast.
