oh no tarasis nevermind....make sure you put a note next to the recipe in the indian book for next time to reduce the spice element to your taste  ;D

Thanks, it's quite a downer though. I tend to magnify disappointments (aware of it but can't change it).

My mum used to make rhe greens cheesecake and years ago yes it was really good. Always had a pacet in the larder. Havnt had it for over 20 years, what a shame they changed a great recipe.

I am the same tarasis, always have high expectations and then feel very disappointed. Chookie said to me once, you need to see itvas a learning experience. Good way to look at it.

Tarasis sorry the butter chicken was too hot, what chillies did you use? We don't find this meal hot just tasty, I use big green chillies as the smaller chillies would be too hot

Woud the marinade work on lamb, then on the bbq ?

Also using maple syrup, is it thicker and sweeter than honey?

Hally I agree with CP - Maple syrup as marinade on that quantitiy of lamb would be quite costly!!!! Hope your BBQ ed lamb chops were tasty - yum!!!!  :)  :)

We had the Honey & Soy chicken this evening with boiled rice. Worked a treat though got a little sickly into the second ladles worth.

I can see that, we ... Well I am moving towards that. I find I want to prepare it for myself so I know what's in it though not yet convinced its better (like say making your own butter)

Last night I mad Pizzas for dinner. The family devoured 3 large pizzas. I used a pizza tray for one, and the other 2 I used a Pizza stone. Does anyone else know the best way of using pizza stones? I had trouble with the base sticking. I added corn flour to the stone before placing the pizza dough on. Maybe I didn't use enough corn flour. Any help please.

Dede, i very lightly spray the pizza stone with spray oil, slides off a treat :) i have 2 pizza stones, different types and works well for both.
