No, neighbors have gone away on holiday for a few more weeks yet and my girl friends are married which would mean having to have 1 or 2 couples over. I would feel like a third wheel. Usually there would be 1 or 2 of my kids around, but they are off on holidays. I have some small frozen meals tucked away in the fridge that I could've eaten, but I was planning on giving them to my DD2 to take back with her next week. Its nothing really, at least I'm eating...repetitively

Cream Puff, just freeze whatever you have in to portion sizes. You need your son at home

DH turned his nose up when I said I was making beef stroganoff so instead we had - braised beef with a creamy mushroom sauce, potato/pumpkin mash, caramelised squash, carrots and beans.

Mussels with a coconut curry sauce. First time I've done mussels in the TMX. So easy.

That's sounds so good JD but I wouldn't get away with that in my house when DH is home. Things like that I keep for when he is on shift work

Alyce Alexander's chicken tenderloins and chilli mayonnaise from the low carb cookbook. Didn't have wheatgerm or sunflower seeds. Used almonds, sesame seeds and pepitas instead. A nice change from boring breadcrumbs.
