Last night we had Quirky Jo's Baked Beans and tonight it is a Chicken Mac'n Cheese.

I haven't tried Quirky Jo's baked beans - I must put it on my to do list.  I make quite a few of her recipes.  They always turn out well.

When I make these I add 1/3 of the beans into the mix early and add the others just to heat through. I find they don't break up as much.
Margaret your dinner sounds delicious. Our last night wasn't a rip roaring success. It was ok. I refer a more traditional mac n cheese. last night's sauce was buttermilk and yoghurt and it just wasn't right.
Tonight is skirt steak rolled with gherkin, ham and carrot in the centre. We love these, I cook it for several hours in stock.
