Marina, thanks a million.  That is very kind of you.
We are home now and Ral is amazingly good when you consider what he has been through.  Our Son drove us home as we would have had to sit around the hospital for 4 hours waiting for a Non urgent Ambulance to take Ral home.  There was no guarantee that they would take me also.
It is lovely to be home and I am back to cooking.
Last night, crumbed lamb cutlets and TMX mashed potatoes. Steamed Zuchinni and carrots.

It’s always good to be back home Chookie and Ral will be much more comfortable there whilst you get back to your kitchen doing what you love to do. So nice to hear he is going so well too.

There's no place like home. Good of your son to drive you home ..  The patient transfer ambulance could have been ages and ages.

Baked Bean jaffle a are definitely the best. DH and I sometimes have them when we are away in the van and it's late when get around to having dinner.

So glad you are both home Chookie . The old jaffle irons were square and no divider with a long handle as you could use them on the gas stove top . Seared salmon rice with lots of green vegetables followed by stewed pears from the garden .

Last night we had Scallop Pies from a bakery in the next town.  Had them with mashed potato and a few veg I found in the fridge.

Yum Margaret. I have yet to taste scallop pies. I was going to have one when we were in Tassy but I was always so full! Last night we had Chickpeas and Potatoes from RTE.https://www.recipetineats.com/easy-chickpea-potato-curry-chana-aloo-curry/
I even made the flatbreads for it. The entire meal was tasty and very easy. Even DH liked it and he isn't fond of ;curry.

Tonight we are having chicken breast, slit open with sundried tomatoes, spinach and bocconcini added. Its quite easy and delicious. I will do some vegies with it,
