You’re lucky that DH will eat the same thing 2 days in a row Julie, I know some who won’t. Personally I’d eat 3 or 4 if it saved me some cooking LOL.

You are giving me inspiration JulieO.
We are having a RTE meal tonight with ho9me made flatbread. I think it's called Chicken Tacos. We have had it before and it is lovely.

Tonight grilled rump steak and salad.  Cherries.  I bought a small box, 2 kilos.  Don’t ask the price.

What a good idea.
Pork chops on BBQ. Mashed potato and greens.  Paw paw.  We eat a lot of Paw Paw as it contains the enzymes my system is missing.

My DH is so easy going, he doesn't mind having the same meal 2 days in a row at all.  My meals are usually 2 serves too so I do the same.  :D

After Christmas my plan is to start clearing out my freezer and the slow cooker will be handy for this.  Can make some wonderful meals adding bits and pieces that quite often you can't replicate again.  ;D

We look like having toasted ham sandwiches tonight.  It's been a busy day. :)
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Leftovers here. Judging by the amount of food left it will be left overs all day tomorrow too.

I thought I had cooked too much but looks like it will all go over the next few days.  DD said that the best part of Xmas food was the leftovers. First year ever that there was no Xmas pud.  GD and I made a Chocolate Ripple Cake.  I made Adam Leiw ‘s trifle.  RecipeTinEats  Turkey Breast in SC worked beautifully.  Best part was no tummy upset for me.

I agree Chookie, leftovers make it easy for the cooks to have a break after Christmas. My DD made a lovely Keto mousse for dessert last night, as good as any mousse I’ve ever eaten. I haven’t bothered with desserts but it was Christmas so why not.

Lovely that there wasn’t an upset tummy for you Chookie.
Judy I’m sure you enjoyed your dessert a lot.

Tonight is leftovers again, but hopefully that will make a large dent in them.
