Steamed duck brests marinated with Rhubarb .
Love Duck. Always order it when eating out.
Corned Silverside with teamed veggies and mustard sauce.

New discovery this year was Coles has packet of two fresh duck breasts thus I try a different recipe but this one is so good . Bonus took the skin off and baked in between two trays , crispy skin and near disaster... duck fat overflow. Saved DS to the rescue grabbed a saucepan and I poured the fat into it . Later when cooled down into a jar then in fridge for roast duck potatoes. Lucky DS was making narchos in the oven ! Tell me about it , we are about to have dinner and one teen is always hungry so I gave in and said have whatever you like even though it was 15 mins before dinner .
Need to feed DS up any ideas .

K ATIE, how about Pizza. Can top it with anything. Fried rice. Can be reheated in microwave.
Roast chicken with veggies. Need to use up veggies from fruit and veggie box. Rhubarb and Apple mini pies in pie maker. Will make stock from carcass.

We are having crispy fish (from the supermarket, Birds Eye I think) in flat breads with salad. We will all have a different type of sauce on ours.

When I buy a whole chicken I cut it in 1/2 and we have 2 different type of chicken recipes. I have been reading a recipe from Zuni restaurant in America who are famous for their Chicken and bread salad. I’m going to give it a go. The chicken needs to rest in the fridge for 24 hours.
Tonight steak and roast veggies and spinach from garden. Fruit salad.

Tonight I'm trying some salmon from the supermarket deli. Never had it before so only bought small pieces. We never ate the salmon we caught when we went surf fishing, did'nt like it. This will be interesting.

Still on soft food so scrambled eggs for dinner tonight followed by yoghurt & fruit purée. Drinking lots of Sustagen in between meals.

Cookie, we both enjoyed the salmon. I bought one plain piece and one with a chilli and lime marinade, both were nice.

We are having a chicken stir fry tonight with noodles in the pasta machine. I have been having problems with the pasta machine, it clogs up in the extrusion area. I’ll see how I go tonight.

Thanks Katie, I think you might mean Advitil, that one is on the list of suggested

drinks the hospital gave me. I buy the Hospital Grade Sustagen Neutral so that I can mix it with sweet or savoury foods as well as drinking it hot or cold. I have 3 tins here at the moment which will keep me going for a month or so but I’ll check out the Advitil next time I go to Chemist Warehouse. I haven’t been shopping for a month, my DD picks things up for me.
Tonight I finely chopped some prawns and added them to the Thai coconut curry sauce I froze recently/served it with veggies.
