I also love a good sandwich. Good bread and lots of filling. Lots of people buy those trays of sandwiches from Costco for catering. I quite like leftover sandwiches toasted. Not salad ones.

I have a piece of pork neck.  This is often used in Chinese cooking. I’m going to cook it in the SC.

Tonight was Chorizo Spagattini. A recipe of Tenina’s. I was very disappointed in it.

We’re having some home created sausages in the AF. I’ve taken to making my own sausage meat. Hopefully they will turn out well.

Good idea cookie, at least you will know what’s in them. Let us know how they went.

They were delicious Judy I added a bit of  finely grated parmesan and sprayed them with EVOO just before I AF them.

Cookie, l love making sausages.  Friend and I made a very large batch a couple of years ago.  We wanted different flavours so we would make a mix and then fry a bit in the frying pan.  Adjust the seasoning to taste.
We have been buying sausages from a local who makes small goods.  He delivers and we are having a deliver this Saturday. I found for the BBQ it was best to bring the sausages to the boil in a pot of water . Then they only had to be browned on BBQ.
Yours sound very nice.
I do rather like the Bunnings sausages even though they are poor quality.
Probably fat, flour and seasoning.
Flathead fillets in egg and Panko crumbs, for dinner with home made chips and cold slaw.

A sausage sizzle out always tastes nice. As you say Chookie probably full of fat etc.. I've found a butcher at our local Westfield that has quite nice sausages.

Dinner tonight is miso salmon for DD and I and DH will have a slice from our first Christmas ham. We usually end up having 2.

I'm another one who likes sausages.  I always bought one when we went to Bunnings.  I think of it as supporting the local clubs and charities. :)

Beef casserole for the men.  Mushroom & Pumpkin Risotto for me.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

It’s the smell of the onions that get you in, I always used to buy one (once I even went back for a second one) but since having to eat soft food I haven’t tried one, the bread is out for starters and I doubt it would be the same without that. I still enjoy the smell though.

Chicken Parma with mashed pots and snow peas from garden. I pulled the bushes out and gave them to the Chooks.
