Thankyou JO for printing out the recipe, I am going to try it this week.
Good idea CC, we had roast last night and so I cooked heaps more veges than we needed as I was planning on making
Bubble and Squeak
from this forum, but will give the frittatas a whirl now

Tonight I converted a chorizo & zucchini risoni dish, can't remember where it was originally from, but it turned out just as good as the stove version.

I ended up doing a Chinese version of Baf's Chicken Dish. Marinated the chicken breasts in soy sauce, fish sauce and Chinese Five Spice. Sauteed chilli, shallot, ginger and garlic in
then added chicken stock and dried shitakes. Steamed chicken in Varoma, removed, sliced and placed in Thermoserver. Added veges and steamed while cooking noodles in stock. Placed all on top of chicken and mixed together.
Bit messier than normal stir fry, but very delicious and fat free!

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Boiled eggs with marmite soldiers and fruit. How unimaginative is that?!

I'm sure it tasted good though CarolineW.
We had a roast last night with roast vegies and cauli, broccoli, broad beans and fresh peas in the Varoma.
I'm dooing my menu plan for the week today so I have no idea what is for dinner tonight.

KFC (Chookie style) last night with mash and garden salad. Curried sausages with rice tonight.

We had these
Lamb Mince & Salad Pizzas
today for lunch (except I didn't have any lamb mince) - 2 with beef mince & salad, 2 with flavoured tuna & salad - so leftovers for dinner with pumpkin soup.

Roast lamb dinner, and for the eggplant/squash bake, I sprinkled it with the Italian style breadcrumbs from EDC.

DH and DS will be having the Chilli that I cooked yesterday and I will be steaming rice to go with it as I'm off to a Quiz Night tonight. There is still Dorset Apple cake to be eaten for dessert.

We will be having leftover KFC chicken tonight - I made far too much for 2 people last night but when you go to all that effort you may as well do a decent batch. Don't think DH will complain getting it 2 nights in a row and I can have a day out of the kitchen.

Maddy those photos always make me hungry no matter what time of the day it is.
Last night we had steamed chicken breasts with a satay sauce and vegies in the Varoma.
Tonight DH is having a lamb shank in the slow cooker and DD and I are having steamed salmon in the Varoma. DH doesn't like salmon that much and we don't like shanks.
