i think there are too many recipes in this world to cook the same thing week in week out, so I love the inspiration they provide also. we can all "hear" when someone says they cooked thisnthat, but when we see a pic we think g
ee that really appeals to me (or not)

Hope your feeling better soon Julie. Pies are just the perfect comfort food
Last night was pork sausages with hot apple sauce & onions, individual bacon wrapped egg pie & garlic mushrooms.

Maddy your photos are so inspiring.
We were having grilled steak with mushroom sauce (from the gravy of the roulades I made before). When I went to the freezer the steak wasn't sirloin it was gravy beef. I don't know how I managed that. I think I should wear my glasses more at the shops.
Hence dinner is something different. Perhaps curry.

Grease 4-5 individual pie tins.
Wrap 1 1/2 rashers bacon (rind removed) around sides, and bottom, for each pie.
Whisk together 6 eggs, 1 cup creme fraiche or sour cream, and chopped chives or parsley. Pour into tins.
Bake 180c, 25 minutes.

Frittata using the ricotta I made with vegies and for dessert steamed roly poly and custard. Oops, nearly forgot, cauliflower soup and my take on Masterchef's sourdough. Recipe to come.

Last night I was a little naughty, did not use the TM31 but cooked dinner (Kranski's, Asparugus, Zucchini, Eggplant and Tomatoes) on the Chimique.
DW did use the TM31 to whip the cream for the smashed Pavlova.

Saturday I made
Beef Enchilada's
with taco bread.
Bit of an oops though with enchilada's....I had a couple of friends over, there may have been wine involved
and with a lapse of concentration, talking & cooking, I put way too much chili in
Just managed to eat it though
For the taco bread, I followed the
parmesan bread
recipe, just omitting the parmesan cheese & herbs, and then I added 1 1/2 Tblsp.
Sonan's taco mix
(will add 2 Tbsp. next time), then topped with tasty cheese and spring onion.
Sunday we had take out Chinese with my Brother
.....and tonight I made
chorizo & capsicum risotto.
