I love the sauce bottles Maddy.

I wish I had more time to shop,  and shops to shop in.
Its 1 hour drive for any decent shops.

What size do you want fundj?  I have a large one but it is too large for just 2 people, wish I had a smaller one as well but I am not going to buy another one at this stage for the limited amount of times I would use it.

Have lamb shanks on at the moment in the SC - it is my simulation to a houseboy, great arriving home at the end of a day to a cooked meal!  :)  :)

Exciting development re my need for the Cuisinart cream maker with compressor!  I often shop online with kitchenware direct where they have the instant price match available when you are searching, the model I want to purchase was listed with KD for $499,whereas Home Depot had it for $399 - I just received notification that kitchenware direct will match that price, I simply need to quote the reference number in the email - yahoo!!!!!  :D  :D

had a friend over for dinner the other night, and the comment was made "gee, you like your gadgets" and whilst I knew that it was funny that someone else (especially male) should happen to notice (DH has blinkers on I reckon) I think that perhaps a lot of the forum people are pretty like minded in this respect  ;)

Yes, Creampuff we like our gadgets here.  lol

I think that if you like cooking you also like making cooking more enjoyable and gadgets help.  For example, I love making cheery pie, imagine having to pit cherries without a cherry pitter or making ice cream without the TMX and/or an ice cream maker

Gee I don't have a cherry pitter. To be honest I would like to have enough cherried so that I needed one.

Robyn that is a great price for the Cuisinart ice-cream maker - have you ordered it?
